The total site area is 0.19 hectares (0.47 acres), and currently contains a former residential dwelling that was converted into a health clinic for the local Primary Care Trust but is now vacant and surplus to the operational requirements of the NHS.
The site is accessed directly off the A226 Rochester Road, and located to the south-east of Gravesend town centre within a predominantly residential area accessible to a number of schools including Gravesend Grammar School.
