In 2019 Richard successfully completed the Occupancy Deemed Agreement Programme with a 96% success rate for NHS Property Services nationwide. This was a mammoth task given that the knowledge of property occupancy had rested at 36% for some time.
Richard is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and has almost 30 years’ experience in Property Asset Management and Residential Estate Management working for Pension Funds, Landed Estates in London, and Property Companies nationwide. In addition to Healthcare, he has managed Shopping Centres, High Street Retail and Central London Offices, devising property solutions and tenant mix strategies to successfully improve asset value and the occupier experience. He will bring all this experience to bare when advising on constantly evolving, post-pandemic accommodation needs and helping to implement the Integrated Care System nationwide.
Richard has a keen interest in colleague career development and understands the importance of committing to life-long learning for individuals to improve their knowledge and subsequently the Property Asset Performance. As such, he is assisting with the roll out of the Inspire and Communicate Programme of 'Leading the NHS Property Services Way'.
