Dave Kovar has been with NHSPS ever since its inception. Currently, I manage 19 posts in south east Essex, covering nine different clinics from Shoeburyness in the east to Benfleet in the west. Dave is also a Mental Health First Aider.

Dave has been interested in mental health since my undergrad days working as a volunteer on a suicide prevention line. Since then, he's worked with the Samaritans and the USAF Family Support Centres providing a listening ear. Becoming a Mental Health First Aider seemed the next logical step.
