NHS Open Space is re-opening!

Many NHS Open Space rooms will soon be available to book once more through the platform, as we return to normal service post-lockdown. As part of our preparations for re-opening it is crucial that we know your plans for return, so please fill in our quick survey.

Many NHS Open Space rooms were temporarily repurposed in the past few months to support the NHS’ response to the Covid-19 pandemic. We’re pleased to announce that most of these rooms – with the exception of Houghton PCC – are expected to return to normal use this month and will soon be available to book through the Open Space platform.

As we begin to return to normal service, we are following strict measures to ensure a safe and consistent reoccupation of our buildings. We are closely following government guidelines, have aligned to wider NHS Property Services protocol (learn more on our preparations here), and are working closely with on-site Facilities Management teams to complete risk assessments and carry out practical measures to certify rooms ready for occupation. See our reoccupation checklist here.

As part of our preparations for re-opening, it is crucial that we know your plans for return to NHS Open Space rooms, such as what services you plan to run, and whether appointments will be in person or virtual to support social distancing on sites.

Please take a few minutes to fill in this quick survey – we appreciate your patience and support at this time. [This survey is no longer available]
