The future of the NHS estate
Simon Taylor, Head of Property Optimisation at NHS Property Services, spoke at a recent NHSCC webinar (19th March), considering the changing requirements of the NHS estate and how we can adapt.
Speaking alongside NHS England, we discussed:
- What the changing NHS landscape means for estates, and key policy action in this area.
- How CCGs are responding to changing estates requirements and the challenges they face.
- How NHS Property Services is adapting to the changing NHS landscape (including our Occupancy Regularisation, Vacant Space Handback and NHS Open Space programmes.
The session was chaired by Dr Barbara Rushton, NHSCC Co-chair and Chair of the NHSCC and NHS Property Services CCG Customer Board.
The presentations were followed by a Q&A session, allowing webinar participants to feed back their views and raise any questions for presenters.
