Weybridge Health Centre fire update

An update from the Chief Operating Officer of NHS Property Services following the overnight fire at Weybridge Health Centre, Surrey.

Martin Steele, Chief Operating Officer of NHS Property Services, which owns the health centre, said: “We are grateful to the emergency services for their swift response to this fire, and our local teams who were onsite in the early hours of this morning.

“We are assisting Surrey Fire and Rescue and the local police in their investigations to establish the cause of this fire as soon as possible. While the investigation is underway, we will secure the hospital site with the local police.

“We are also helping North West Surrey CCG and CSH Surrey to make alternative arrangements for delivery of the local healthcare services.”
