At NHS Property Services, our focus is providing local services in a clear and transparent way, that meet and anticipate your needs.

During a period of tremendous change for the NHS with the emergence of Integrated Care Partnerships (ICSs) and Primary Care Networks (PCNs), as well as the impact of COVID-19 on care provision and estates, different types of spaces are required to deliver care to local communities.

We are committed to working closely with our partners across ICSs and PCNs in the South East to understand the needs, challenges and opportunities that exist within your communities. We want to support you with your clinical strategies by not only ensuring your estate needs are met, but to really help you get the most from your estate so you can deliver excellent patient care.

How are we supporting your ICS?

As for supporting our ICS partners, here are some examples of the ways we're enabling better care in your area:

  • Kent and Medway – Refurbishment of Walter Brice Health Centre is well underway to meet current and future requirements of the locality and is on target to complete in October 2021
  • Sussex – Supporting West Sussex CCG, Sussex Community FT and the ICS to develop the Outline Business Case for investment at Crawley Hospital to provide a new Childrens Development Centre to meet the current and future needs for this service
  • Hampshire and Isle of Wight – rebuilding Hythe and Dibden War Memorial Hospital to provide a modern fit for purpose sustainable facility
  • Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire – supporting the developing of the OBC for Chalfonts St Peters refurbishment for expansion of primary care linked to NHS E/I STP funding
  • Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership – Creation of a social prescribing hub at Beechcroft and the refurbishment of vacant space with Cobham HC to provide additional primary care capacity
  • Frimley Health and Care – Supporting the CCG and GPs at Camberley Health Centre to create better and more fit for purpose primary care space

We're rebuilding Hythe and Dibden War Memorial Hospital

The new Hythe and Dibden War Memorial Hospital will serve as a local ‘Area Hub’, supporting West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group and Isle of Wight Sustainability and Transformation Partnership's integrated care strategy for the 80,000+ population of South West Hampshire.

The new building will provide a welcoming, inclusive, fit for purpose and high-quality facility, creating a positive experience for patients, visitors and the staff caring for them.

Works are due to complete in Spring 2022.
