NHSPS is delighted to announce that Hinckley Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) is now officially open. Delivered by NHS Property Services (NHSPS) in partnership of NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board (LLR ICB) and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL), the state-of-the-art facility is the first of its kind in Leicestershire and will offer a wide range of diagnostic tests closer to home, giving greater choice and easing pressure on our busy hospitals.

The extra space will meet community demand as the population of Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes grows twice as quickly as England’s as a whole. This Volunteers’ Week (2nd – 8th June), NHS Property Services is highlighting the 1,135 colleagues who have volunteered their time to address local social and health inequalities to improve wellbeing in our communities.
The accoladed paper is titled: “Evaluating the potential of using energy certification models to assess decarbonization pathways for primary healthcare buildings”. The project explores the potential of repurposing existing EPC models to forecast and assess the impact of transitioning NHS primary care buildings to low-carbon technologies.
