NHS Property Services welcomes new Digital and Data Non-Executive Director

Lakh Jemmett joins the NHS Property Services Board as Digital and Data Non-Executive Director as of 10 July 2023.

Lakh's appointment reflects NHS Property Services' commitment to be a digitally-enabled and data-driven organisation as we look to use more technology to transform the way we work and support customers.

Lakh has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications, healthcare, and government sectors. He’s worked at a senior executive level in international technology businesses, major telecommunications firms, and global data services corporations - delivering digital strategies and transformational change programmes.

He is currently Non-Executive Director for Digital Transformation at HM Courts & Tribunal Service and Non-Executive Chairman of Portsmouth Water CSP. Lakh is a Board Member for Independent Oversight Body (IOB) for Irish telecommunications market. Between 2017-2022, Lakh was also Non-Executive Director and Chair of Digital Committee at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. 

Lakh has had a broad career spanning a range of industries and has overseen the successful turnaround of several large, complex technology companies. He spent three years as CEO of BT Managed Services, where he developed and executed a successful growth strategy.

Lakh will help to deliver on our goals of using digital and data innovations and solutions to enable excellent patient care.
