NHS Property Services welcomes new Non-Executive Director

Jacqui Rock, Chief Commercial Officer at NHS England, joins the NHS Property Services Board today, 22 May 2023.

NHS Property Services has been making changes to put the customer at the heart of everything we do. As one of our key NHS stakeholders, welcoming Jacqui Rock to the Board is a logical next step in our evolution as an organisation. Having an executive from NHSE on the board will provide real insight and perspective on how we can continue to drive our customer centric-culture.

Before joining NHS England, Jacqui was Chief Commercial Officer, Head of Corporate Services and Transition Director at the UK Health Security Agency and Commercial Director at the Ministry of Defence. Prior to joining the UK Government, Jacqui held executive positions within financial services for over 30 years at banks including Barclays, Credit Suisse and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Jacqui Rock, Chief Commercial Officer at NHS England, said: “I’m delighted to join the Board of NHS Property Services. It’s a fantastic opportunity to work more closely together and align our priorities in driving a safe and fit-for-purpose NHS estate that supports the needs of patients, while also delivering value for money for taxpayers.”

Jane Hamilton, Chair of NHS Property Services, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Jacqui to the Board where she will bring an increased focus on the customer to our culture and operations. Jacqui has a wealth of experience from both public and private sector that will be invaluable as we strive to get even closer to our customers and partner with them to help the NHS transform and enable excellent patient care.”

In addition to Jacqui joining the Board, NHS Property Services will also be formalising the roles of Trish Stephenson and Jackie Ducker as statutory Board members. As our Chief Operating Officer and Chief Customer Officer respectively, they have responsibility for our customer interactions on a day-to-day basis.
