Soft FM Apprenticeships

Our Soft Facilities Management (FM) teams include cleaning services, catering services, pest control, waste management, FM support services, portering and security.

We currently offer the Level 2 Facilities Services Operative apprenticeship as part of our fantastic development programme, Stepping Stones, for colleagues in our frontline roles who want to develop their confidence, communication and customer service skills.

We will soon have a new apprenticeship opportunity for a Level 2 Healthcare Cleaning Operative - watch this space for more information.

“I applied for an apprenticeship at NHSPS because I wanted to learn more about the business, so I could share with my colleagues.

A typical working week for me is mainly about learning at the moment, learning about teams across the company, and I get a lot of support and encouragement from the Learning & Development team, my Facilities Coordinator, and my team leader. I’ve gained a lot of experience from lots of different departments, and now feel more confident in helping and supporting my colleagues.

I love working for the NHS, they’ve got a great culture of ‘get, grow and keep great people’ and that’s not just words, they’re really invested in your development and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
