In previous roles Jake has worked as a management consultant for Deloitte LLP and IBM Consulting, providing advice to a number of public sector organisations including the NHS, MOD, MOJ, Home Office and Local Authorities; and also to the private Financial, Corporate and Energy sectors. Prior to this he worked for JLL and DTZ as a Real Estate Consultant, advising corporate clients on their property portfolio and location strategies. Throughout these roles he has built demonstrable success in developing senior relationships, servicing business, managing experienced teams and providing wide ranging real estate related solutions to complex organisational issues across both private and public-sector.
At NHS Property Services Jake has overseen many high-profile projects within London including site vacation and disposal; early scoping for potential development opportunities, consolidation and optimisation of health centres, admin space and larger more complex community hospitals. Some of the higher profile projects include the disposal of Marie Foster Nursing Home, the consolidation and development of Edgware Community Hospital, and the development of St Leonard's Hospital. Through London's active Estates Board he also regularly interacts with other senior customers such as the Greater London Authority, Local Authority management, NHS Trusts, Local Medical Committees and One Public Estate.
In his new role Head of Estates Strategy, Jake supports the planning, development, and optimisation of NHS estate and infrastructure. He works closely with ICBs to develop and implement estate strategies as well as working cross-functionally to deliver customer projects within the Healthy Places programme.
